Modern bridge saddles for vintage style tele bridge

Does any company make modern square style saddles for tele bridges that use barrel saddles? I tried doing this when I had my Agile Texan and the saddles didn't fit. I want to do this to both my G&L and my Swampcaster...I just like the feel of the big square saddles better.

Was it the Strat style saddles you tried on your Texan or offset Tele-style ones?

Strat/modern tele saddles. I knew the offset wouldn't work because the screw is in the center of the barrel saddles.

The biggest problem I see is that the string holes are at the back of the bridge and wouldn't thread through the square saddles. It'll make it a pain in the ass to restring. You'd think someone would have made saddles to remedy this by now though.

I'll stick with barrel saddles if I can't find anything. If I were to use the saddles I really want to use (big brass square saddles) I'd have to drill for new ferrules, but if I went with those offset Graphtech ones i'd have to drill the back of the bridge, and i'd be worried i'd drill it off center or the drill would slip because that is kind of an awkward place when you have to be precise. Looks like i'm pretty much SOL unless I want to drill both of my tele's for new ferrules, but I guess I don't want them enough to want to do that to either of them.
