Wiring gurus, Please Help with wiring a 6 way switch

    Hi,
I replaced the stock Carvin pups in my DC727 with a pair of covered BKP Warpigs. In the process, I want to put in a Freeway 6-way switch in place of the standard toggle switch. Here is the problem I have. The wiring diagram included with the switch shows the setup I am going for, basically standard B/BN/N and then the same thing except with the coils split for single coil B/BN/N options. [Top of the two diagrams in the attached pic.]

The problem is that this diagram has two volume and two tone controls, whereas the Carvin has only a single V and T. [Also, the bridge ground on the Carvin is soldered to the copper foil lining of the control cavity, not to one of the pots.] The second diagram in the attached pic shows a different pickup scheme but with the single V/T controls, and I notice that several wires and grounds seem to be going in different places from the top diagram. I tried to make sense of it and modify the top diagram appropriately but just got confused.

My question, then, is how do I modify the top H-H wiring diagram to obtain the same switching options but using only the single V/T controls and the different ground in the Carvin?

Thanks so much for any help.

Do you already have the switch? Is it one of the original style ones, or the new revised style? (The diagrams are for the original type, which had some reliability issues.)

This is for the original switch, which I have. I bought one of the newer switches as well, but it doesn't really fit as well in the cavity as the older one so that is what I used.

Also, I looked through all the newer diagrams, and while there are many more than with the older version they still didn't have one with the H-H single V/T controls either.

All you really have to do is take the volume and tone pots out of the circuit completely in the first diagram. Take the wire that runs from the pickup to the pot (the pickup's hot connection) and connect it to the switch where the volume's output wire was connected.

Then wire up the output from the switch to the master volume and tone like in the second diagram.
