Well, technically, if I started the song last Tuesday and submitted it before this coming Tuesday, it'd still be a song created from scratch in a week, it just wouldn't qualify for last week's running. But the rules stated it didn't matter if it's a new song or a song you've had kicking around forever but was unfinished. I believe the idea is to just get people being creative and actually doing something and as long as it's not just re-recording some previously released song, all is fair. If I'm mistaken, I shall shut my yapper.

The first week is over, but here's an updated version of mine with bass lines. Time to start on a song for week two...

Any idea why I'm getting the "this track can't be played outside SoundCloud" message?

The finishing your old songs rule was for the peer pressure thread, which is now separate thing. I believe for the song a week thing it has to be new. I'll go back and edit the OP in the peer pressure thread to make it less confusing.

Oh, this is very carcass worship, I love heartwork, one of my favorite albums ever, Bill Steer is the man, and back when Mike Amott was still interesting!
