    Guitar Practice Goals

Does anyone have goals to hit this year for their playing ability? Mine is to finally become a good lead player and to tighten my rhythm playing back up and beyond what it was 10 years ago.

I've been looking at the Painkiller solo and those little sweeps in the beginning are giving me serious shit. They're so quick and simple but my fingers don't have any clue what to do when presented with a sweeped barre

I want to get through the lessons I bought recently from Johnny Hiland. I've done a few already and they are fun as f*ck. I want to master a dozen or so of those chicken pickin' country solo techniques so I can grow my overall guitar vocabulary, as it were.
