    EBMM Stingray5 BFR Rosewood Neck

This bass was completed in February of 2009 and I purchased it new from Guitar Center a few months later.

    Specs -

5 string, 34" scale, HH, 3 band EQ, 5 way selector switch, solid rosewood neck, gold hardware, in a Guitar Center exclusive (I believe) Pace Car Blue, with a blue/grey/gold swirled pickguard. I never removed the plastic from the pickguard. The pictures do not do this color or the figuring of the rosewood on the neck any justice at all. It's an unbelievable playing and sounding bass that is a bit more warm and full sounding than your traditional Stingray, but I just don't need 5 strings and this bass hasn't left it's case in 6 months for anything other than the occasional tuneup. There are no marks on bass that I can find. There is a hint of tarnish on the gold bridge. It comes with a molded case and a Certificate of Authenticity.

It pains me to sell this, but it really needs to be done. $1700 shipped/insured in the Continental US only.

    Pictures are below.

It pains me to think how sweet this bass probably is, going for that much, considering that I paid $109 for my OLP version

The rosewood neck was a limited time only option - dealers were only able to order them for one month at the end of '08. These rarely pop up, at least from my research.

Is the neck and board all one piece?

Presumably, they are either from separate blanks, or the fretboard was sawn off the same blank. Gotta get a trussrod in there
