Schecter C-7 Diamond Series (circa 1999 + upgrades)

    $400 shipped in CONUS.
Will ship to Canada, after getting shipping quote, you pay shipping.
Good deals with many members here, check my iTrader account.

Will accept the following for trade consideration:
    • 4-5 string bass guitar,
    • High-quality 1x12 guitar cab,
    • Gator 4U rack bag

TL;DR: This guitar rips, and you should buy it if you need a 7-string for any reason. Mean as shit and is very easy to play.

Bought this from the Adminishredder around 2012, fixed it up (old nut caused some buzzing issues) and upgraded it a fair amount (see below). It's *very* clean and in pretty good shape for the age, only a few small dings and the usual pick swirl finish flaws. Tried to get photos of those dings; the worst one is on the side of the fretboard near #5 side dot. It's missing some of the screws for the pickup rings, so if that bothers you you'll have to get a set of 8 screws to restore the matched set.

It plays very well, and the combination of tonewoods adds up to a bright and punchy sound.

The pickups work very well with the brightness of the guitar, giving a wide range of tones from clean to bluesy to punchy rhythms and singing leads.

All switches/pots/knobs/tuners function flawlessly, and the cockstock draws envy from all.

Currently set up for standard or 1/2 step down with the current strings, but will surely need some tweaking/personalization when you get it and put your favorite strings/tuning on it.

    Features:
    • Ash body (I'm 90% sure of this),
    • Maple bolt-on neck (thin satin finish),
    • Black body w/cream binding,
    • Abalone diamond inlays,
    • Knurled aluminum knobs,
    • Grover tuners,
    • Flatmount hardtail bridge,
    • String-thru bridge,
    • Dunlop Heavy Core 10-60 gauge strings,
    • Cockstock.

    Upgrades:
    • New Graphtech Tusq XL nut, cut by a luthier in Philly area,
    • CrunchLab + Liquifire pickups in cream/black zebra,
    • Schaller guitar strap locks,
    • Brand new (unused) Fender gig bag.

Will ship in Fender gig bag and Fender box. But inside will be a Schecter. And I promise, no peanuts.

Hit me with offers and questions.

This was a great guitar before Soop made it even better, even if it does have a cockstock.

    Thanks, Chris.

Believe it or not, this is already spoken for. I'll leave the thread open for now and update in case the deal falls through.

Maybe you're right. They're shiny and have some color swirls in them, maybe it's better MOP than you see these days. Abalone is pretty blue isn't it?
