    Hello World.

I am posting in new member introductions because I've probably been gone long enough to have qualified to be here. LOL.

First, I apologize for being gone so long. I really don't have any excuses. I guess guitar, and music in general, aren't as big a part of my life as it used to be. The reasons for that are pretty simple. Part of it is lack of Interest, and part of it has to do with losing 25% of the dexterity in my right hand due to nerve damage. it's not as much fun to play guitar knowing what I used to be able to do versus what I can do now.

For the past 3 years, I spent time remodeling my little house. I threw a great big pity party for myself after the divorce, and I'm getting over that.

About a year ago, I bought myself a 2006 Mustang GT convertible. I spent time last winter putting in GT500 control arms, outer tie rod ends, and replacing the fluids. This spring, we put upgraded brakes and rotors into it. I bought a convertible because I'm too f****** tall to fit into a regular Coupe, but it turns out that having a convertible is awesome. It's like two vehicles in one. I can enjoy a nice day with the top down, or be comfortable in it when the tops up. Either way, I drive it like an a****** because that's how I feel one should drive a car like that.

I hope you're all well. I don't know who's come and gone since I was last here, but I'm sure it's still the great community that I remember.

I’ve had carpal tunnel surgery, surgical repair of the thumb UCL, and trigger finger of the middle finger, all on the left hand. I totally feel you on not being able to play like you used to.

I've totally been staring down a few Mustangs. I know it's kinda redneck-y for my area (btw, I moved to Santa Clara, CA last year), but it's all nostalgia at this point for some Midwest muscle

Bitchin' mustang is bitchin, btw. I love that year/body style. The big high hoodline really nails the old classic muscle feel.
