I ahve the painted neck on my BFR baritone - it's really not too bad. I'd definitely prefer it natural and roasted but it wasn't a deal breaker for me, the guitar is still fantastic.e

Hey man! I really like the JP16, though I wish it had the regular EBMM bridge instead of the double locking setup. It's a brilliant guitar otherwise though! The trem on it isn't bad, it's just that the regular EBMM ones are magic.

Annoyingly, I really can't remember my settings. I think I used to use OD2 with a TS9 as a clean boost. I'd set the gain around 16/17 on the JMP-1, EQ'd pretty flat. And I didn't use the Bass Shift button, as I found it made things sound a little too woolly.

I'll have a dig around on my computer, as I think I have some settings written down somewhere.

Hi Joel. I only just got the notification for this. It could be done depending on the exact requirements. It could end up being expensive though.

What exactly are you looking for?

Thanks man! If he had posted a price for it I'd have sent him an email, but the whole "email me with offers" thing makes me think he knows what he has and is looking to get more for it than it's realistically worth, ya know?

It's a Fishman VT Powerbridge. It's a solid bridge, with piezos, but took some work to make it fit right as the baseplate was not drilled to match the template.

    Hey dude.

I'll be back down at my flat a week today, so should be able to send the pickup out sometime around the 25th.

Well it was really weird that that very morning I was showing my Grandad some videos of you, and of Rick. And I showed him the video of the Andy James contest you won, and the video Rick did for it. When I realised it was them in the shop I went to say hi and my Grandad brought up the Andy James contest videos. (It was weird that I was showing my Grandad videos of Rick the same day we bumped into him.) So then your name was brought up, I mentioned that we both posted on MG.org and Tom started his stories of you playing everyone's songs at Guitar Idol.
Btw, that Splawn Rick bought sounded GODLY in person.
I'd just like to point out how unfair it is that you're about 6 months younger than me, but an infinitely better player than me  :(

Yeah dude, haha. It's a longish story, but I brought your name up and that was the first thing he said to me. Haha.

    Haha, were they? Awesome.

The Heavy Blues should go well with it.

Postage should be about a fiver I think.

The Chopper does that kind of sound really well. Kotzen uses them in his tele I think.

Yeah I'm going in the opposite direction at the moment. I've got some Lace Sensors in it at the moment, and whilst they're great, I'm having trouble getting that smooth lead tone that I get with humbuckers. For leads I really like Brett Garsed, Holdsworth etc. Plus, Richie Kotzen rules and I've seen him use these ;)

About the Glasgow thing, yeah that sounds like a plan. I'll message you if I'm gonna be up there any time soon. If not just let me know how much postage is and I'll add it on to the paypal for you?

Hmm, Hamilton isn't all that far from where I am at college - if you have a chance to get to Glasgow when you're up in Scotland I could meet you there with it - it's kind of a halfway point - it'd also save both of us money on the postage lol

I put a set of Bare Knuckle Sultans in it. I wanted to go back to the old school strat sound. The chopper was cool but it was too RAWK! \m/ for what I'm after just now.

I'm from Wigan (Near Manchester). But I do travel up to Scotland once a month or so as my grandparents are from Hamilton.
So what have you replaced the chopper with in your strat?
