    Ok, so the bass have a zero fret, thats established right now. That wasn't the issue, fret is seated correctly and well.

    But I now came home and had a little "enlighted moment".

    I press on the string past the nut. It stopped rattling so much.
    I guess I have to make sure when stringing that the string has enough downward press and I shouldn't have any issues with this again.

    Oh, maybe I was a bit wrong still:

    I could probably cut the "behind the zero fret" nut a little lower, since I noticed that it actually buzzes against it! There we have it!

    A 130 sized saddle file and a few seconds had it solved. Now I'm 100% confident with this bass!
