    Melodic metalcore demos

    Hey everyone

I’m new to the Metalguitarist forums but I thought I’d post some of my demos for people to hear.

Production quality is far from great on these but really I’m just a bedroom guitarist writing demos for fun.

Anyway, here’s wonderwall. I mean, never enough.

Wow, really nice song! But it would really benefit from a clearer mix. I don't think it's nessecary to re-record! The basic guitar and bass sounds are cool too. What did you use for drums?
I think if you improve the basic drum sound and get rid of all the mud in the lower mid range you would end up with a great mix.

I want to get in on that but having two god damn kids and nowhere to really play anymore has fucked with all that ambition

Thanks for the tip man! Glad you like the song.

Unfortunately, I don't think I actually have the logic project now, so I would literally have to re-record everything, but maybe some day haha.

This was probably superior drummer 2.0 as I'm pretty sure that's what I was using at the time. I didn't really mix it to be honest, likely just set levels and bounced it out of logic...

Check this out, wrote this one over the last couple of weeks and I think it sounds a fair bit better. What do you think? https://soundcloud.com/prisonersuk/snbrn-20

I'll check it out for sure!
