    Reaper experts help please

Not sure if this can actully be done but I'll ask anyway.

Im currently working on a drum mix for my friend and I's album and he uses Logic although we have the same plugin suite (waves and other stuff).

Im wondering if there is a way to export an automation map for things like reverb on a snare so rather than do it all again in his system where the final mix will take place we can just load it from a saved file.

No idea what type of file this would even be.

Any help even if you have encountered this before and found a good way round it would be amazing.

    cheers

Not a Reaper expert but could you not use envelope/automation lanes?

We're all musicians, still searching for our roots.

You can control most FX parameters through MIDI, so a MIDI continuous control message should work on both platforms. I'm not sure how to do this specifically in Reaper or Logic, but hopefully that will give you enough to do a bit of research; the Reaper forums are pretty good, too - lots of helpful people - so I would suggest asking over there as well.

yeah that is how I have automated it but I want to export the automation commands so I can load it in logic and not have to do all the work again.

Yeah. sorry, only a partial answer. Like DrTed I was thinking the automation track could then be exported as midi control for use in Logic.

Best option is to export the post-fader audio which will reflect your automation moves.
