I actually recently did a reamp test with two different DI tracks, both recorded by me with the same guitar, same riff, but one DI was recorded with the Little Labs, and the other was going straight into the instrument-in of my Focusrite interface. Then I recorded the same riff live through the amp and compared the DIs. The Little Labs reamp was identical in every way to the live recording. Same tone, same feel. The one recorded with the Focusrite was harsh, and had artifacts in the high end that just gave the tone a plastic quality. It's a great unit and well worth it if you're doing lots of this kind of thing.
+1, The Little Labs Red Eye 3D is awesome.
