This is. It's not PERFECTLY transparent... but if you're careful you can really do some cool stuff with spectral editing. I did a ton of this on a recording of my uncle from that alum I did with he and my dad a while back, where he was playing softly and breathing audibly in a few places, where I was able to do a pretty good job "turning down" the sound of his breathing without really effecting the guitar in an obvious manner.
