Already mentioned, like, 3 times: GVSTs gate. Or for better and nearly-free, the one in the Toneboosters track bundle.

I've been looking for a free synth/organ vst, and i've found some. When I download them they are a .dll file, do I need a special program to open that? Or do I just add the .dll file into the Reaper Vst's?

Nope. Yea, it helps to add chords or melodies on the fly, but you can always manually add them by way of the midi editor.

Ggate is awesome. I also really like Gdelay. For amp sims....Kuassa Creme is killing them all....big tone...brutal sound...has a built in cab impulse loader ( I use Soldano SLO 100 cab impulse for rhythm and a Diezel cab impulse for leads) TS808 tubescreamer for boosting leads(although I don't even need it with Kuassa) Kuassa is around $30 but it is sooooo worth it.
