The best thing I can say about this is the habit is starting to form... and getting anything done I was away for three days surprised me.

Was that comment for me? If so, thanks! The drums are EZ Drummer 2 using the Metal Machine Expansion using the basic kit (my favorite). I have a ton of Toontracks MIDI libraries to draw upon so that's the primary input into my drum tracks. One I have my basic patterns, I usually go into them to add little "accents" here and there (for example, the cymbal accents before the heavy rhythm guitars come in at the end of my solo). Sometimes I keep the small fill at the end of a Toontrack verse patten but I'll also clip it out and paste in a substitute fill as well.

Good work everyone. I agree with Rocka, Scole, those drums sound great. Nice vibe, Astro! And, Bohmer, please don't stop - your stuff is right up my alley.

I just wasn't feeling it yesterday and only got about halfway thru before deciding it was a suckfest and stopped, so no entry from me for week 2. Congrats to those who got it done!
