How dare you disrespect the demon-frog-taking-a-dump vocals.

Fucking Demlich guy is a god.

firstly that album is one of the best about when it comes to death metal. Second the vocals are hilarious, they sound conversational like the guys leaning over to talk to you in a bar and thats what comes out.

That's kinda cool lol. I played a gig with Gorerotted once. The dude who did the gutturals was completely motionless whenever he was 'singing', like he was literally frozen to the spot, and then went absolutely batshit whenever he wasn't.

I was a death metal singer in the 90s. Trying to put some tracks on my songs now, but 20 years of rust is taking it's time coming off... not to mention I used to be young and angry, now I'm just old and confused...

Here's the only half way decent representation of it from back then that's made it to the internetz.

This was a friend's band who wanted me to mix my death metal voice with how I sang for Ironchrist, so you have to listen to the whole thing to pick out the DM parts...

Thanks, yeah, not a full-on DM throat there, but once I'm done with the song I'm working on now I'll share it with ya.

Any examples of a voice similar to what you want?

    Yeah, do.

I guess the Soreption or the original Scar Symmetry vocalists are in the ballpark.
