It's too bad not all fans are as classy as Yankees fans...
FUCK THE YANKEES, Cliff Lee, The Phillies, Tom Brady, Drew, snow, SS.org, Ebay, Bill Belichick, John Boehner, the iPhone, the gecko from the Geico commercials, shitty drivers, dealing with insurance companies, crazy ex girlfriends, my job at the moment, my shitty mood, new year's resolution's, happy people, the state of Connecticut, my cubicle at work, lower back pain, the Seahawks, anything Queensyche has done the last 15 years, NASA, Tiger Woods, the economy, people who can't drive in the rain, acid reflux, everyone in Dream Theater except John Myung, Metallica, customer service at Verizon, people who take up the whole aisle at the grocery store, The Rock, working Saturday's, waiting for Drew's album, The Packers, Robinson Cano, tires with no traction, spam email and the spam you eat, Putin, cavities, Netflix, Godzilla, Taylor Swift, the price of replacement windows on my house, squash... to be continued

*Not ALL Philly fans OBVIOUSLY, but the shit they pull is just unbelievable and well documented, so please no arguments here. Everyone knows they're the most mean-spirited fans in the country. Throwing batteries at the wife and kid of Tampa's manager? Mocking a players infant son who died? Bullshit.
Nick, you can't make a sweeping generalization of a statement like that and say you can't be argued with. Have you ever been to an event in Philadelphia? VERY FEW of the fans in Philly are the way you describe. I'm sure that there are a like number in Boston, which is notorious for that behavior. Come on down to a Phillies game next year, and I sure your misconceptions of the Philly fan will be cleared up.

The average Philly fan is a blue collar worker that wears his heart on his sleeve. They have no tolerance for bullshit from club management, or laziness from the players. They will call them on it every time, and LOUDLY. Sometimes, this gets taken out of context. Was there 46,000 people throwing batteries?

    Stanley Cup, 1993. (I know, it's been a while too )

Last thing Philly won was in 1980, with the Phillies winning the World Series.

Yup! Right before the Canadian Gran Prix. I was there to see how the center of your city was torn up by rioting fans. Thank gawd they didn't get Jack Looney's!

I came in a few days after the riots. Quite a mess. Montreal has hot looking hookers!
