Pretty low hopes with Flyers Goalie tandem but we'll have to see. Future is looking bright though.

Cody Glass went to Vegas. I saw him play at several winterhawks games over the past season and the kid's future is bright.

The Caps off season has been a shit show. Huge contract to three players and then not enough money under the cap to ice a team. They let Johansson go for pennies and protected the wrong guys in the expansion. They'll be good enough to make the playoffs, but cup aspirations are gone.

Oi...this was a painful year. Hopefully with the current signings we can either get lucky with some of the newer guys (read Hershey) finally showing whether or not they can play in the NHL or we'll be in purgatory for a couple years. I'm hoping we can trade Orpik and his corpse for something by the TDL...but not expecting much. We shall see.

We're getting close now. Flyers have been pretty bad to watch in the preseason. West coast trip to start the season is going to be rough.

Stars preseason has been ho-hum. Some good games, a couple not so good. Will be fine, get the rust out now. Ready for the season to begin in earnest.

    ^

Beside Hudon (who will be in the lineup in october, finally) and Mete, who's been playing with Weber for all of the preseason and get lots of praise at only 19, absolutely NO rookie is standing out. Bad.
