I just got bored with the team. I liked Bledsoe as a kid, and I envied what Brady did; 6th rounder, came in and just started winning after only one year on the bench, then when all the credit was going to a specific personnel, and they made changes and showed Brady+Belicheck could win with whoever they put on the field. They did it all and I resolved that as long as they were both in the NFL, they were always going to be a contender. Not living in Boston or being a fan during all the dark years, I didn't really have something keeping me in their camp, so I just got bored and started following other teams.
Being as good as they are, the hate comes from feeling like sometimes they do push the boundaries to gain an advantage when I don't think they need one. Maybe that's just irrational hatred from being an ex-fan shaping what I perceive as true, but that's just my perception. I don't hate the Patriots because I'm a Jets fan, I became a Jets fan because I hate the Patriots
But no, I don't deny how miraculous a run they've had.
