    Considering that my city has what probably is the shittiest and most expensive public transport in Western Europe, and that the drive to uni is 10 minutes with fair traffic, it's a no brainer to have a car now that I can afford it.

    I'd have to agree with this, I drive around 45 to school everyday, and there always seems to be construction on the way home so boost that up to around an hour.
