Help me out here. I'm changing the main output jack in my 2027, and using one of these:
STEWMAC.COM : Flush-mount Output Jack
Which is a little nicer version than the badly soldered, rusted piece of crap that I took out of it. My guitar has the KG Mod for the piezo (one jack).
On the old...
I had one from Shannon/Mesh when I got the guitar, but I've no idea what the hell I did with it and don't want to hose my piezo, or trace wires for two hours. I think the KG-Mod is Kevan's crazy wiring that makes it so you don't need to switch jacks.
I have to get these fucking blackouts...
My 2027 never came with a woop woop stick. The one from my 1527 fits (kinda) but it is black so :noway: .
Anyway, I saw that Chris broke his and I was wondering where I could get a replacement woop woop stick for that trem.
I was about to put a new (non-piezo) jack in, and noticed something extremely strange. The output of my piezo is 1000% hotter than the blackouts. Here's what happens:
(There's probably a proper term for the "blend jack" but whatever)
Piezo jack + piezo: Working perfectly, piezo sounds great...
