Based in Cambridgeshire, looking for £700 since these are still retailing at £1200. A proper chest-thumper, with all the wholegrain face-melting of a 5150, but with that EL34 tightness. Monster amp. Someone help a brother out. Stat.
As I mentioned in this thread I borrowed Ryan's Triple Rectifier to try some tones out for my band's EP (which will be released in about a thousand years, when we finally get a fucking vocalist).
I had a plan that I wanted to try out for this EP, and it goes a little something like this...

This little clip is just an accompaniment to an article/blog I'm doing about the much-forgotten T75. It's a little bastard of a speaker that people overlook in favour of the V30.

That there track he did done posted the other day with that there vidya.
Guitar chain was thus: Pro 40 > Little Labs RedEye > Peavey 6534+ (left side boosted, right side unboosted) and ENGL Savage 120 (same DI's reamped then...

Just testing out the 6534+
Excuse sloppy playing in places. As always I wish I had more time to play with optimal mic positions etc but it's getting there. Pretty raw tracks tbh, just a high pass and low pass and a spot of multiband.
Title says it all, looking at buying one of the two in the near future. I don't really need the clean channel that the 6534+ has, as I will be using my Mesa and/or something else for cleans. I have always been a big fan of EL34s and my Mesa has EL34s but I have grown to love the 5150/6505...
