Not for everyone here, but I know some of you enjoy them as much as I do.

Seems like half the basses I try out at the store a) have 24 frets and b) have a huge cutaway and a neck that stays thin up until the top. I don't really play bass so I wonder how often you use the high frets on a bass. But why don't regular guitars have that good of access?

24 frets minimum. Guitars with necks that stay thin up to the body (so probably one piece guitars more so than ones with bolt on necks right?) Guitars with more than 24 frets that are easily reachable. Show me what's out there.
