  1. Guitar: Instrument Discussion
Here is a very rare Caparison Angelus ACE 24-fret model, in a (not very) Lemon Burst finish. Made in 2001. First the photos, I promise that I have cut off the loose string ends since taking the photos!: I've been looking for ages to get my hands on a 24-fret Angelus, in an ideal...
  2. Guitar: Pickups Discussion
I've seen a lot about the Fluences and there seems to be a few features about them that are quite appealing to me. Anyone installed them or played a set? I've always preferred 81s for my actives although recently I moved over to 57/66 sets because I prefer the more vintage kinda feel. I'm...

As promised, here's the NGD thread for my Angelus 7 M3B. This is the very same guitar I tried out at NAMM and I was pretty impressed then, even in rather suboptimal testing condition. So first off, piccage and vid, and then details and blah blah. Now for the specs and general...

Inspired by the Caparison Angelus. Jumbo stainless steel frets. M22V/M22SD pickups. The bridge looks to be as low as it can go, which is fine since the action on it is perfect right out of the box. Superb neck, as usual for a Carvin. And it sounds fantastic. Lousy phonecam pics:

And wow, is it amazing. The workmanship is typical SE, which is to say pretty tight. No finish funkiness, no rough fret edges, none of that. The bird inlays look nice, and the traditional PRS headstock looks great. It's got a solid spruce top, and is what I would call a "mini-jumbo" body...

Condition = very good, only a few marks More info about the guitar: Caparison Guitars - Caparison Angelus-TR The guitar was pre-owned by Nils Norberg (ex-Nocturnal Rites). He only used it in the studio, so it has not been on tour. Changed the pickups to EMG 81/60, no original pickups left. The...
