Anyone ever replicate the tremolo effect like what's used on the chords in Anthrax's Black Lodge? I'd like to use it on a song I'm working on but I can't get it close. It's not "shimmering" quite like their version. Is that effect combined with another effect?
Thanks!
25 years ago today. I do prefer Joey's vocals overall but I do have to admit that John's vocals on this record work REALLY well and Only, One More, and Black Lodge are my faves from it..
Salut! :metal:
The harp is a fucking amazing instrument. 7ft tall about 50kg. 7 pedals each with 3 positions for the string keys.
The world see's the harp as stuck in the classical world but the stuff this girl can play is amazing. No one really does the percussive style ever. Infact her teachers at the Royal...
Darren posted Dan Spitz's project Red Lamb a year ago today (search FTW :fever:)... there's another video now and Red Lamb is going on tour to raise funds to battle autism. Dan's two children are afflicted with autism and he basically returned to heavy metal to wake people up about the issue...
Managed to grab a sneaky pic of Scotts rig, custom Randall & Marshall JVM, wireless with some form of switcher & a few pedals in the back. Rob's running a pair of Sig X's.
My band just landed four European dates with Anthrax :flex: Should be pretty good fun.

I know what you're thinking. I was thinking it too. "Phil will be the worst part of this".
Nope, that honor goes to Kerry King, proving yet again that he should not be alowed to play leads. Ever.
