If any of you are interested, we recently did an interview with the guys at Stage Door Chronicles. Im the dood on the right. And my dog Jovie makes a guest appearance.
Stage Door Chronicles ep.14 Crotalus - YouTube
So, being locked down and staying at home and not being able to do an actual rehearsal or writing session, we decided to write and record an EP! Pretty cool how technology has allowed us to do this without ever being in the same room as one another
This song is still in "rough mix" phases but I...
I can't remember for the life of me who they are, but we've discussed them before. I think it was a bunch of young kids from Brazil, though I may be making that up. Band was like two words (eg: Into Eternity). Not particularly famous, but super high energy and awesome stuff that sounded like...
To help all those bored at home during this COVID craze, my band Another Name is going to live stream a full set. We'll be playing a lot of new songs along with some favorites from our "Start Over" EP. We will be streaming this on the OA Radio, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitch this Sunday at...
So, last summer, I had the unique opportunity to spend a few days with Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. If you don't know them, google it. Anyways, being Military, they offered me a chance to gather some friends together and open for them at one of the shows they played.
So we put together a few songs...
A band that really likes german sausage, or a band evoking the term for an out of control child with behavior issues?
No pronunciation guide was offered. If it was an LA band I would think "snotty child with behavioral issues", but honestly it could be either, it's not clear at this point.
When it was 1999 I got this guy's album, he's got the most distinctive voice INCREDIBLE VIBRATO.
And check out those guitars, I can't create the name of the first one, although I'm fairly convinced I have one, and a Jem.
DeWolff cement title of "best 60s/70s throwback band" with forthcoming new album
I fucking love this band. This one's not out til early next year, but they are already dropping videos and shit. Normally on "wannabe retro stuff" it's obvious that it's modern stuff emulating a retro vibe, like...
This is the "follow-up band" to Rocka Rollas... Proper band name, better song writing, everything needs to be PERFECT!!!
We need a singer! Preferably within Sweden, but open to suggestions WITHIN EUROPE.
We're looking for a singer similar to Daniel Heiman (Lost Horizon) or Ralf Scheepers...
Thursday Thrash Thread is tomorrow but I found out this guy's this morning.
I really dig some of their tunes and they are around for almost 20 years. Weird that I never heard of them until today.
They have a very old school vibe that makes me travel in time :metal::metal::metal:
Such a sick band. There's enough psychedelic prog stuff in there for any fans of Magma/Hawkwind, but the afro-beat influence is heavy.
Not as crazy about the second and third studio albums but sonically the guitar/bass/vocal textures on the first one ("World Music") are perfect and legitimately...
I am in the process of cooking up a new band and have a few name ideas, but wanna be sure I'm safe
Just an EXAMPLE (I'm not thinking of this particular name)
It's not trademarked ackording to this search:

My band Crotalus recently released an EP. Its some combination of Death and Grind. Give it a listen.
We are playing tonight in Denver at Your Moms House, and will be at the Bar-Bar on 7/20 and again on 8/30.
The song is called "Penumbra" by my band Replicas. We try to do everything DIY (recording, mixing, mastering, artwork, etc...) so it was natural that I'd have to do a lyric video since it's a thing now. Either way hope you guys dig the track and the video :yesway:
