I turned my friend Kenny from high school on to Ola and he decided to do some blast beat drumming to one of his youtube videos of him making sweet metal. Imo the recording sounds like shit but aye, he can throw out some decent blast beats imo, but I'm no drummer.

I recently got EZDrummer and I really like it a lot but I have a quick question. How do I go about creating my own drum beats? Do I need a midi keyboard or something? I'm curious how you guys use it. I use Reaper as my DAW.
