Buckethead Reveals Life-Threatening Heart Condition
I've been an on/off Buckethead fan since the late 90's when he first got on my radar. I've never heard the man speak before. I think most people have known for a while now that his real name is Brian Carol, but never heard him full on admit...
3rd time seeing him. Awesome as always.
Anyway, he was using an effects pedal that was like an octave down deal but it had this throaty "talking" quality about it. From where I was it looked like maybe a Boss pedal? I can accomplish the sound pretty much with my Earthquaker Pitchbay + the EHX...
So since buckethead is been touring this year I've been listening to him more lately. Dude has monster hands, no way I can play anything he puts out. Anyone try to do a cover on him? Saw a few decent covers on youtube.
Just started listening to him the last year and a half or so, holy balls :facemelt:
Some dates here:
(None near me, hopefully some of you other MGrs can go)

Anyone use these? Been looking for something to use in the Gibson SG Baritone to make it match the Buckethead Les Paul in function but the reviews on these seem a but iffy. Some say it quits working after a while and seems really cheaply made. Looks like it'll fit with the thin SG body but the...
Bucketheadland. :metal:
Going to see Big B in Vancouver and couldn't be more stoked for a gig. He hasn't played in Canada in something like eight or nine years, and I've been waiting for this for almost as long. Should be a rockin' show - four hour drive each way but I'd go twice as far if I...
Hi,
I did a cover of Buckethead's tune 'Lone Sal Bug'.
What do you guys think of this mix/the cover?
Any kind of constructive criticism is very welcome.

So, after a long absence in my music rotation, I threw on Giant Robot, and am still floored by how great it is. I looked up his website, and found a weird message...
Welcome to Bucketheadland
It would appear as though he's not in the best of health right now. Here's a summary from his wiki page:

27" scale 24 fret Les Paul? That is sort of intriguing.
Didn't realize that I still had these. I snagged them at his last show here a little over a year ago.
Anyway, I was bored so I figured I'd post some of them. :D
The encore jamming with That 1 Guy. :metal:
A fellow lefty sent me a message asking about building with Warmoth parts that I mentioned in another post. Since there is so little available for lefties by comparison, I figured I would post it for anybody else who's interested in building their own. I've built a few for myself, and I've built...
