Sure enough, as soon as I hit the record button...I started shitting bricks and panicking lol. Timing was off, forgot everything I wanted to do...went into a stupor.
BUT, I wanted to give some different sounds of this cool little beast - a pro would have a field day with this amp. :)
Europa Report (2013) - IMDb
I watched it this evening and thought it was pretty darn enjoyable. It relies on being a bit more thoughtful than a lot of sci-fi, and less on action and fantasy technology, but it's still really cool for a Friday night movie. :yesway:
New tarantula discovered in Northern Territory national park by Adelaide PhD student - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Just when I thought I knew about all the big hairy spiders in Australia, a freaking PHD student has to go look... and find more. :ugh:
Seriously though.. very...
Robb Flynn Is Literally Sh*tting Himself Onstage - MetalSucks
But this is entirely new levels of devotion.
I don't care if he hasn't been cool since Vio-lence and Forbidden. This does all of metal proud.
Been meaning to grab either a watch or cycling computer with heartrate and GPS, and this one also adds in cadence, and appears to support navigation if I give it a course in advance. Pretty cool. :yesway: Thoughts after I take it out tomorrow, I just installed the thing.
I have no idea when this came out, but I'll be damned if it doesn't seem flexible. Not sure how exactly it would compare with the strymon or eventide stuff (it seems to be a bit beyond the TC flashback)
Given that my bandmate can't find anything that can do what the DL4 does...
I'm blown away here. This demo could buy beer and liquor now. This is Meshuggah in 1993, sounding about two decades ahead of their time... i swear, these dudes are aliens. That's the only way to explain it!
Some cool early versions of None and DEI-era tunes. Everything sounds kind of pitched up...
I bought the first album on cassette, based entirely on the band's logo, back in like '92 or so when I happened upon it at music fair. Thought it was awesome for a few months, then forgot about them.
Just been checking out some of their other stuff. This album is from '91. Pretty adventurous...
Warmoth Custom Guitar Parts - WarPaint Sale
Warmoth has a 20% sale on all finished stuff in showcase for those interested :metal:
Dollar vs swedish crown ratio is too big right now anyway so I can't buy anything but would be cool to see if anybody else gets something cool!
Pulled this out of my Explorer. I assume it goes for slightly more than $10 shipped. Probably at least $12 on those other less cool forums. I guess it's kind of cool, but I use Tubescreamers religiously.
If anyone wants it tell me how hard you are going to burn with it and shoot me something...
Looks like Ibanez are finally starting to use regular trems again!! I knew about the RG655 before (which looks really cool in orange) but now they seem to have introduced the RG652K which doesn't look too shabby either. :metal:
Note, I'm not saying the Zero-systems are worthless, but I know...
Just checked out the ESP homepage without expecting anything out of the ordinary but then I saw... :thrash:
Actually I looked up some better picks... The yellow especially looks rather bland on the homepage pics, but it looks really cool in these here;
M-1000 YEL - The ESP Guitar...
You guys may remember this guitar from this thread.
It plays great, sounds awesome, and looks fantastic. I kept good care of it, and added some pretty cool features: '61 pickguard, raw nickel pickup covers, Gibson OEM Silvertop knobs, and a Gibson plain truss cover.
I'd like to get $475...
