Ok so I've finally pieced together a song in reaper and now it's time to do drum editing.
My question is, how can I make my track one track, instead of the bunches of pieces it is now. I want to add and change symbols and stuff but the basic structure is there.
What do you guys do?
I am in the process of finishing my 1st EP, and I am in a bit of a dilemma:
So far I have never done any editing on the guitar tracks in terms of going into the wave forms and splicing them and inserting silences.
While I do like the super tight sound of modern metal, I think for my own...
Is there a software package i can buy that has some nice delays, distortion, compression etc?
Obviously Reaper (which im using) comes with a lot of these but the reverb and dealy for example sound like shit to me and im not finding them very easy to use.
Am i just too much of a noob or do...
I'm hunting for a piece of software that works like Soundforge on OSX. I've tried a couple but not had much luck.
Audacity: Doesn't recognize/work with wave plug-ins.
Bias Peak LE: Same deal, also only supports up to 24-bit files. Tried the demo, didn't work.
Ableton: Tried it, holy shit...
So, I'm digitizing all my old VHS tapes and I'd like some free or cheap software to clean up the videos with. I need to be able to trim the video, crop it to remove rolling at the bottom or top of the screen on some videos, and to clean up as much of the analog mess that I can.
