I just had my first multiplayer match in YEEAAAARS... It must have been almost 10 years since last time and I quit after 1 match losing against a fucking tower rush. Anyway, today it was so much fucking fun. I have played against the AI since it came out, and the HD AI is just way too hard...

So, I'm trying to play Age of Empires 2 with my wife (one of her favorites). Problems: 1) We both have Mac's, and the Mac edition of the game does not on the latest OSX (PowerPC not supported). 2) Going the long route (VirtualBox > Win2k > AOE2) creates weird screen issues with side-scrolling...

Empires of Eden guitarist and fellow Aussie countryman Stu Marshall (ex Dungeon, Paindivision, Saint Lucifer) decided to make a nifty vid of the guitars used on the new EOE album. Some fine axes and stellar playing. I want that Killer and Greco.... :yum:

...and I totally installed the shit out of it. Well, at least I know now that my day is going to be completely unproductive :yesway: :lol:

Thought this deserved its own thread since the game is so awesome. I'm installing AOE2 right now, gonna check out multiplayer options so we can set up a server or a vpn for lan gaming. Unfortunately it bombed out of wine :lol:

Just wanted to transfer the discussion of this game from the FS thread... AoE3? I'm still playing AoE2CONQ :lol: Is it better? What's different about it?
