The logic board on my Macbook Pro (mid-2012 15" w/ retina) kicked the bucket. I got the hard drive out of the case figuring I could find some kind of external enclosure to pop it in, but it looks like that might not be so easy/cheap. I don't have anything really important on there that isn't...

Access to common internet services shouldn't depend on the user installing some proprietary, third-party component, so it's good to see that YouTube, Soundcloud, and in fact every news site that I frequent, no longer require Flash Player for media playback. Next on the list: Java.

I'm getting an Olympus e600 DSLR for christmas, and my options for storage are really only limited to two formats, CF, and Micro SDs. It actually is supposed to take either CF or xD cards, but xD cards are stupidly expensive (8gb for $70) and almost no one carries them anymore because the...

... and if so, you can participate in the HTML5 video beta at Youtube. YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. Some quality improvements can be improved, and there will be kinks to work out (videos with ads currently don't work with HTML5 and default to Flash... but is that really a loss?), but anyone...

I love Amateur Surgeon, but there's always a level or two I can't get an A ranking on and it makes me want to throw my fist through the monitor. I love this game, but sometimes I don't want to deal with the noise (or be angry at the hacker scores plaguing the top of the charts). If I'm...
