Lots of metal guys must be home more often these days.... too expensive to tour, families, day jobs, etc. Who is known for getting out in their own local scene? Not for their side projects, but to get out and support?
So, I found out today I need glasses. Fucking yay. As the title states, what do you do about playing gigs or see bands? Wearing glasses while playing isn't an option at all. Do you wear contacts or go without while you play?
The last few shows my bad has played have been at smaller shows where the PA was garbage. One place mic'd up the guitars, but didn't have a monitor for the drummer. The other didn't mic anything but the drums and vocals.
