I'm really loving this neck pickup more lately. But that sort of happened under circumstance.
I was doing some rough practicing while demoing for my next solo effort. The song was written with a Strat in mind, but my Talman Strat copy was currently at my tech's. I just though, eh, I'm only...
Okay so I have three guitars
Ibanez 7620 with D Activators
Ibanez 1570 with Gravity Stork Humbuckers/Evo coil
The prestige is the one I gravitate towards and the others have pretty much been gathering dust.
While taking a break from practicing I pulled out the other two...
The gs neck and bridge arrived along with an evo single coil.
Planning on dropping them into my rg1570
Should I just go with basic wiring or is it worth looking into options like splitting the hum buckers?
Also do caps make a difference a long time ago I ordered off of ebay orange drops for...
Just got my coral mist rg550 back from my tech (It had a very minor crack between the lock nuts so I decided to make sure it wouldn't get any worse so he sealed it up for me) I also had him pull the stock bridge and neck and throw in a Tonezone and a Gravity storm.
I must say this is a great...
got my 550 all set up now with a Gravity Storm in the bridge and a Liquifire in the neck.
Absolutely loving the Gravity storm really sweet sounding pickup.
I didn't know if it would work in Basswood or not but it certainly does.
I will try and get a clip up this weekend.
Went to see it in Imax 3D.
Spectacular! A technical achievement. Not a second it looks like the actors are in a studio... It really feels like you're there with them.
It was all fun and great suspense... Until the last quarter of the film.
Then, it went into total suckage mode, IMHO.
I got them from Larry Dimarzio to make a review.
Like I said in my review, Vai pups were created to match his amps, I don't see too much difference between gravity storms and evolutions through amp modellers so if you already have evolutions and play with modellers, I don't see any need of...
One of my students got this installed in his RG Premium, and I got to spend an hour or so with it. It is easily one of the best neck pickups I have ever tried! Maybe the best. It has single coil clarity, humbucker thickness, and loads of that wonderful swishy pick attack you get from pickups...
I'm on episode 7, and for those who don't know, it's a show about a support group for those who failed at committing suicide, and their members.
I really liked the first couple of episodes, but now it's kind of dragging on me. And I have no idea what the fuck is up with the detective.
I've always wondered what would happen if you brought a clone of planet earth right up next to us.... like, 1 mile above our highest peak, and orbited around our planet fast enough to maintain a constant distance..... how would these two masses affect one another?
what would happen to plate...
