So I got a G-System, and then moved house, so still haven't set it up. Anyway, the setup I have is a bit, well, I want to be able to use all my little fun pedals.
1 - Roadking II head, which has 2 effects loops
2 - RJM RG-16 (8 loops and acts as the amp switcher)
3 - A G-System
So, I am looking at a g-system to kind of replace my dead g-major, and as they've put all the buffer modifications into the new ones (not black, but I think I can cope with that, just) so am contemplating getting one.
So my question, any reason not to?
Since i'm swapping some stuff in my rig around i decided the G-System has to go. Anyone interested? Good condition, been carrying it in a proper Case all the time. Comes with the original package, an extralong data-cable in case you want to run the footcontroller apart from the brain...

So It's time to clear out some excess clutter since I have an Axe-FX inbound. :D Let me know if you want more pics.

I saw Darren used a pair of them in his fantastic pedalboard; can someone explain to me how they work as they are not controlling volume? Is he running through the input and output as a glorified variable resistor?
1) Anyone use it with a Legacy? I have been doing some reading and there are a couple ways people have used it. The Steve Vai way, and the 4 cable method. Besides the built-in effects I will be using it with a couple different ODs up front, a Whammy and a Wah and channel switching.
2) Racked or...
So, my guitarist finally got his effects loop put into his Marshall JCM800, and so he finally got to use his G-System, which I helped set up. Holy Jesus, I want one of those. Amazing sounds, amazing versatility, it does almost everything I need. So much fun.
I was thinking of picking up the G-System to replace my G-Major. The only real feature that is getting me to upgrade is the switchable loops for bringing in pedals like OD in the chain via midi. My only question is that with this setup you will be putting the OD after the preamp section and my...
