Just placed an order for one of these. Clearly, with LEDs
This will go around the back of my 4 space rack. Not that the AxeFx and Orange power amp are getting *too* hot, but hot enough that I think a fan will help keep things running efficiently...
Used S7G SOLAR 7 CST Spalted Maple Solid Body Electric Guitar Spalted Maple | Guitar Center
At the local GC in town, I haven't played it and I know Strictly 7 QC and practices were....questionable to put it lightly, but for the price I'd definitely consider it.
This could also serve as a PSA...
 But the pedal finally arrived.
The store I got to order it from actually ordered 3 back then, but then the popularity made the Miku Stomp a rarity, we didn't hear from Korg for a while. This year, 2 arrived and the store reserved one for me. So I got it after all. :)
The Miku Stomp...
The tension I'm used to these days is 10's in Eb standard on 25.5". I'd probably tend to use the same on 24.75" too. I currently have 11's on my Les Paul just for the fun of it but that's proving a little too stiff for me. I change out the 46 for a 52 for drop C#, and I use an 11-56 set for drop...
I just was wondering if some of you guys could give me critiques on my tone/improvisation or some recommendations on improving my playing. Thanks.
(Towards the end, I play a lick from Don't Fear the Reaper and a half assed version of the Van Halen solo intro to You Really Got Me)
Off the back of Teddy's thread, I thought it'd be interesting to see what the worst fuckups at gigs you guys have had?
As I said in Teddy's thread, we got main support slot for one of my favourite bands, Heart of a Coward. During that time we had;
*Our drummer ruined his bottom snare skin half...
So I found this for a steal on the bay. ($98 USD when all was said and done)
It's a Jackson RR2? (maybe). In satin Black with the Jackson knock-off floyd and Duncan "Designed" pickups. All of these things would normally keep me far away from this purchase, but the price was right. And I'm damn...
Got a late b-day gift from a best friend and band mate tonight. Could not believe my eyes when I opened the case. My jaw dropped and I ain't gonna lie... it brought a tear to my eye. This has been quite litterally my dream guitar since they came out and got discontinued shortly afterward. And...
I was going to build a rack, now I'm not. Not so much interested in normal boosts unless it's something interesting. Offer me something
It's relay switchable, btw.
A few things I'm interested in: Suhr Kokoboost. If you wanna offer anything else + cash, fire away.
EDIT: I'll also let this go...
Here is the 1989 Ibanez RG550 you've all been waiting to see!
Matching tone/volume knobs
Awesome color combination
Edit: My pictures suck, I'll take better ones soon.
25.5" scale. For D standard at the moment I'm currently using a custom 10-50 set (10, 13, 17, 28, 38, 50) and it's nice, so a similar feel would be good.
inb4 "tension calculator, knob jockey". I like to talk about these things, for no reason. Work is slow today, just humour me.
I saw a band once a few years back and their guitarist used half round strings. It sounded intense! Good tone, it was clear and it was heavy as hell!!! Im just wondering if anyone here has used them and what you thought of them. I have heard mixed things about half rounds thus far. Thanks guys!
