Mooer release for free the GE LAbs iOS App. You can even Capture with it but to save the Presets you need to pay (I think its 25 bucks). So if you have an Ipad or IPhone give it a try :)
I have been considering an iPad for my Photography use and...
Apogee just released this new version, which seems really cool. I like that it has a direct monitoring option on such a small device; usually it's only software monitoring, which obviously introduces latency.
Here is my setup for convenience in that the only cable I actually have to plug in at a show is a single power cable! Everything that can be is wireless and battery powered.
The very basic building blocks here are an iPad, an FRFR wedge (in this case, an Alto TS210), and the IK Multimedia iRig...
Actually, it doesn't have to be instrument-specific.
I have exactly 1 hour each day to play guitar (sometimes less). So I have to be very structured and intentional with my practice time if I want to make any progress at all.

This device covers a lot of ground in a device not much bigger than two packs of Bubblicious, and even has room for a battery for the phantom power (more on that later).
The iRig Pro allows...
Got an iPad mini for Christmas and I'm interested in seeing how I can use it to make practicing more fun/practical/effective. Any suggestions? I already picked up GuitarPro and the free version of Amplitube, but I haven't had a chance to take either for a spin yet.
