Another cover up, this time Megadeth!!!
Trying to catch up with my list of stupid amount of "started covers" that never seems to be finished.
But here are 3 of them :flex:
So I've had a Hakko 936 for fucking ever, and it's a sick iron. But somehow I split up the element and the iron and the stand and I think the element is in a storage unit in another state. So while I didn't really need a new soldering iron, because the 936 is a beast, I wanted something a little...

According to The Sun, British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN are being sued by their former singer Dennis Willcock for allegedly stealing the lyrics to some of their classic early songs.
Willcock claims to have written the words to the tracks "Prowler", "Charlotte The Harlot", "Phantom Of The...
Anybody have one of these? Been kind of wanting a fixed bridge 7. The extended scale is a plus too. The bevels... they are a bit too "the thing" but I could really care less. More concerned about the feel of these.

I am producing an album for a band that wants a Somewhere In Time/Seventh Son type of sound for their recording, and I have borrowed a Gallien Krueger amp from them and tried it a bit to see what it can do.
It's pretty much a one-trick pony, but a good one. It gets within that SIT/SSOASS...
I need to purchase a soldering iron to do a pickup replacement. What are some good options? I'm swapping V7/V8 with Liqifire/SuperD. And I'll be replacing a 3way selector on my K7 with a stock. For some reason the previous owner replaced it..go figure.
I have now finally properly setupped my new Warmoth and it's really nice!

There's a brand new Iron Label guitar in a music store in Stockholm, sold quite cheap ($170) because it's damaged in the delivery to store.
I figure I could just repaint it white and use a black pickguard.:flex:

Not for me though, as i am a lefty, but i am curious :-).
Here it is, my rearrangement of the atrociously overlong The Red And The Black :flex:
From a whopping 13+ minutes down to a tolerable 6:15!
1. I cut out the bass intro which does nothing to the song anyway.
2. Shortened the intro riff quite a bit, also changing place on some drum fills
