I just got my MXR 5150 setting for use going into my katana, i'm brand new to pedals...what settings do i use on the amp and how do i set the pedal up? Does anyone have any experience with this setup? I also bought the MXR Superbadass so once again can someone tell me how to set this up as well?

yea i posted before about an od pedal to put in front but any recommendations for maybe a distortion pedal? and yea please be nice about it....all i'm tryin g to do is get the best possible tone with what i have....i was thinking maybe an mxr or maybe EHX or something like that, thoughts?

I have a Boss Katana 50. I'm a rockin/hard rock/metal kinda dude. What is your take on putting an overdrive pedal in front of the amp? yea I know it emulates all the boss pedals and such but i'm a tone freak and always searching for that ideal tone.....so tell me, what are your thoughts...
