The black Landon. Swamp ash. Roasted flame. Pale moon ebony. Evo frets/brass nut. BKP pickup. The switch does full/split/phase... I think.
The yellow Landon. Alder. Birdseye/ebony. Top mount floyd. Some sort of hot as fuck Duncans. The paint is the actual paint that Ferrari uses. The boss...
I'm curious about this. We all have our heroes - in the music business and out - but within the music biz, which guitarist would you like to meet one day?
They don't have to be "metal" guys. Edit: for the sake of the discussion, let's say they have to be alive.
What's good peeps? I'm new here. Haven't played regularly since high school. I'm considering picking up a guitar again. I mostly dig metal from the 80s like Iron Maiden but can get into most genres of music. Ask me whatever.
I'm from Montreal, Quebec. Used to play in a band called Incarnia (we were signed on a label and released an album). We disbanded and right now i'm working on my own work called Ezerath!
Nice to meet you all. :metal:
This week I've been finding "weird" metal like babyMetal and this little group from Sweden. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but I REALLY think their reinterpretation of metal music is amazing and sounds great. Consider the following:
Nolly is one the coolest guys I have meet and we all know he is a tasty guitarist and produced. We chatted about guitars, Planet X and Satriani! Such a cool guy and it was a pleasure to meet a modern guitar hero!
Plus I keep harassing him on how he needs to make a solo guitar album! ;)...
Since we had so many heads all in the same room, and I took my recording rig up there too, we thought we'd do a shootout. I used the Rose of Sharyn DI's supplied by the Sneap Forum.
Stuh84's Peavey Ultra
James' 6505+ 112 (outlined to the same cab as the rest)
Or the tale of an extremely elaborate gear trade.
Going back 6 weeks-ish I spied my old 3x12 on Ebay, not too far from Stuh84. So, plan was hatched for Stu to pick it up for me, with me coming up to get it this weekend. Which then spiralled into a mini gathering also involving Blank Plank (Ant)...
Local show that happened at a place called Anchors Up, which is the basement of this killer vinyl/music shop called Welfare Records. Bands playing were :
Age of End (friends brother's bend)
A Shattered World
Buck Hunter (an awesome band who I didn't know)
Full Blown Chaos
Hey... I'm new here and the one of the first things someone said to me in my member introduction thread was that my post was useless w/o pics.
Well here they are. My lovely ladies. Enjoy the pr0n, people!
