I just picked up these midi beats for SSD and they are pretty damn cool!
Here is an old riff I recorded to them.
I yearn for single-button switching to change amp channels and effects.
I know non of us are playing live any time soon, but since the pandemic I've been getting my rig in order for our much-anticipated global comeback (lol) and recording etc.
Last time I was regularly gigging and recording I...
Probably not many people here who might have this situation but I'll post up with some of my lessons learned doing this work...
Having grown up in the days of cassette 4-track recorders, I tried to leverage my Roland D-20 synth workstation to do the most work of bass, keyboards, and drums. A...
Anyone use one of these?
Seems like a pretty slick solution for my Mark V. I just want to be able to change channels on it using my FM3, and this one looks quite a bit smaller/more compact than most of what I've found otherwise.
Is there any very small midi controllers
with like 5 buttons maybe
That I can attach to my Kemper
To change profiles
I want it on the studio table
Right now I'm using a Tech 21 Midi Moose Footswitch
But I want something I can put on table
Anyone doing MIDI control of USB devices?
Meaning.. I'm interested in using the Mooer Radar in a MIDI setup, but as it's a USB device, I haven't seen any good solutions on how to do this.
I'll basically mostly need to do simple preset changes..
I could use a small Rasberry PI or similar board...
Is it possible to control Bias Amp in Cubase and also Cubase automations (panning, volume etc) with external MIDI?
I have a Cymatic LivePlayer-16 I use for automating our GSP/Kemper/Ax8 live (whatever we wanna use) and wonder if it's possible to setup Cubase to recieve the same MIDI messages...
Which is the smallest modeller which has MIDI in (for automation) and 2 XLR outs (1 for IEM and 1 for FOH)?
Most small (like Boss GT-001) doesn't have MIDI. And they seldom have XLR outs either.
Trying to figure out a workable "fly rig" thats way smaller and portable than our main rack rig...
Got this Midi Mate for sale. A bit rough around the edges, but still totally operational and reliable.
$130 OBO, willing to trade for a MIDI Moose or MIDI Mongoose. I'm looking for a smaller footswitch.
For our live rig we now use MIDI to change channels / effects on Kemper and Ax8.
But it would be super nice if we didn't have to bring laptop + big audio interface (Tascam US1641)
So I was thinking if there are any portastudios that can play at least 2 different midi tracks?
Because one is for...
I've seen a video where I think it was Ken Susi (?) who switched channels on his Kemper with laptop + midi track in his DAW.
Has anybody tried this?
Can this switch channels on TWO amps?
I use Kemper and the other guy in my band uses Ax8 so if it's possible to switch channels on both from the...
Unfortunately, I think most of y'all will be reading about this AFTER the deal expires so this is more of an FYI for future deals. I'm trying to expand my drum loop library and, in the past, I've certainly dropped some money to Toontrack in the past for additional libraries for my EZ Drummer. A...
I am a bit of a sucker for midi packs especially from drummers I like mostly because I am lazy as fuck when it comes to programming realistic grooves.
Thought the thrash metal pack might make life easy for a number of guys on here. I bought the death metal pack the day it came out. Its played...
I have the Tech 21 Midi Moose and wonder how long a midi cable can be and still work?
I know for example USB cables have a very short limit, but XLR calbes can go for kilometers if I'm not mistaken.
MIDI cables, help!
I ship from Austria (EU)(orly?), and usually on Friday after money receipt (IF you notify me that the money is on it's way, I don't check my account every day)
For postage rates: Let me know where you live, what item you are intrested in, and I can tell you what it will cost. I ship as...
I like that it has battery power. That should minimize the number of cables and shit on stage.
The Kemper doesn't feed any power through the cable, so its necessary.
Super simple. I just hooked it up with my Kemper and it works like it should. Not much to say.
Good buy tho!
