You can never have too many boosts, so I picked this up:
It sounds like an 808. Pretty cool little pedal. having said that, can we talk about how shitty the power location is on this thing?
My Strymon stuff has all the connections on the back, which rules. The TS808 at least has power...
Crazy good boost pedal for this peice. A Boss SD-1 with more (and actually useful) bells and whistles.
Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this in, Mods please move if this is the wrong forum.
I use a MXR 108 10 band graphic in my loop and recently one of the sliders has started cutting out and would like to replace it.
This is one of the older Blue boxed AC powered boxes. I was...
I'm selling a Maxon OD-9 and an MXR M123 Super Comp. Both are amazing pedals, and especially the OD-9 shouldn't require any introduction. These have been my main overdrive and compressor pedals as they are my absolute favourites, and both are build like tanks. You could smash a tank with these...
MXR shrinks the Phase 90 to become the Phase 95 mini phaser pedal | MusicRadar
Looking forward to checking this out. I've been on a phaser kick lately, and I love the EVH90, but fuck EVH; I don't want his shit on a pedal. This looks like it's got that tone, plus the 45, all in a tiny enclosure.
I won a small poker tournament last night...
So rather than blow the money on more of the same, I decided to get a couple of pedals.
A brand new MXR 10-band EQ and a used Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone compressor. I've wanted the EQ for a while but just not picked one up.
So - the general...
I really like the 5153 tone. I already have a nice amp and don't want to blow loads of cash on a full 5153. I was thinking would of grabbing either the 5153 overdrive or the lbx amp. I played the lbx and super happy with that. But, naturally the 5153 pedal is a lot cheaper. Anyone played both?
The only thing I see online of this is TGP and our (my shop) Reverb listing, and I'm not going to re-post a TGP thread, nor spam my own Reverb page, so I'll just give a description:
Sounds like it might be interesting, though MXR's gain pedals are kinda hit or miss, IMHO.
Can't believe I lasted so long without a Bass DI. So I got this:
I was gonna go for either the 2 Sansamp models (Bass Driver/VT), but ended up with the MXR Bass DI+ due to the versatility and the added noise gate. Now to make room on the pedal board.
FS: VT Bass DI, MXR Badass OD, Dunlop DVP3, Konnekt 6 Interface
Hate to do this but something just came up.
VT Bass DI - $160 - I prefer this over the Darkglass stuff (I had a B7K). Has a built-di and also has the bite switch which makes it smooth out. Works great on...
Hey, I'm new to the forum. I've recently acquired a Maxon SM-9 Super metal Pro+ stomper. Best pedal I've ever crushed. Annnnyway. The old MXR smart gate does not seem to function in 18v mode. Does anyone know what Noise gates will? The MXR never really messed with my tone much and I've heard the...
Maybe old news for many of you, but.....Holy. Shit. I guess it's based on a TS type OD? But to me, it sounds way, way better. Output at 2pm, gain at noon yields a fat crunch on the Recto's Pushed clean setting. Output at 2pm, gain completely off, and 100hz at about 3pm on the Recto's Vintage...
