From Revv Amplification FB page:
The world's first Two notes Audio Engineering Torpedo-embedded amplifier.
Reactive load box & virtual cabinets onboard.
And now everybody starts to wonder why didn't Amp Heads came with Reactive Loads for the past 10-15 years right? ;)
Peavey XXX into Two Notes Captor. Boosted the XXX with an SD-1. I used Two Notes Wall of Sound for the IR's. Quick and sloppy, but I don't care. There's a little noise issue I have to sort out. It wasn't there with my JSX.
Test of the Two Notes Torpedo Captor. 3 takes were recorded at the same time. The Captor's internal Cab Sim, Captor Direct with an IR, and the line out of the Peavey JSX with an IR. No post EQ added, just normalized the clips. This is the 16 ohm Captor. When I was recording it, I was WTF, why...
Two notes Audio Engineering - Torpedo Captor
Well this is cool. Reactive load, defeatable analog speaker sim, and fixed -20db attenuation if desired. I'm guessing $500, which if I'm right, would be pricey, but only $100 more than the Suhr.
Hi all. Considering getting a Two Notes Torpedo Live unit. My main goals are to have a way to get really good 'cranked up' sound from a full-size tube head into headphones for quiet playing and also for recording silently. I have tried a few of the cheaper modeling options (Guitar Rig, BIAS...
Just tweaked a bit with "demo cab" and it sounds rather nice actually!
A bit "crunchy" for my own taste, but it's still pretty good. Guess I have to try some other cabs for it.
So, what to expect of this if I buy a couple of cabs...
So, why buy a Two Notes for $1000 when IR loaders are FREEEEE?
Sure, for live use, I get it, and for use as a loadbox, but a Rock Crusher or Rivera Reactive Load is cheaper, and IR loaders are free.
Please explain to me the big advantage of the Two Notes
A friend of mine own one and I wanna...
Just wanted to share my thoughts on the Two Notes "Le lead" Pre-amp that i just bought.
You probably have heard of it, as Two Notes have sent one to every famous rock/metal YouTuber ...
But hey, it's a French product, i HAD to test it :agreed: .
So, a quick review.
What is it ?
Or do I just have small hands?
So I learned the basic riffs for ZZ Top's touch with my teacher's guidance. But I am at home trying the bluesy shuffle riff and man is it hard.
It has a bunch of two note chords that start off 2 frets apart (fine), 3 frets (fine) then 5 frets apart (WTF my pinky...
But fuck me do they have some energy! I mean make no bones about it, they're a terrible late-Sepultura/Ill Nino/Soulfly rip-off and the whole fucking thing is two notes tuned down to Z, but you can't knock them for their vibe/energy compared to those other bands! (and most other modern "metal")...
This was something I noticed over the weekend, for some reason, and have started thinking about - when you play a trill, do you start the trill with a hammer-on or a pull off? For example, if you're trilling on the D string between the open D and a 2nd fret E, do you start the trill by picking...
I bought a JPM100 P3 from eBay the other day. It had shitty quality photos in the listing, and I now know why; it's in a bit of a state. I'll try to fix it up a bit, but I wonder if this is a bit of a lost cause, without piling a lot of money into it. The trem's in fairly bad shape, the frets...
Does anybody have any experience in this field?
I'm thinking of using my Kemper (non-powered) live and the other guitarist could use whatever amp he wants + Two Notes Torpedo cabsim rack stuff.
Any pros and cons to this?
up for sale is my guitarists TNT Reload. We can work this in addition to other things I have listed to trade towards an AxeFxII.
Two~months old, babied, only used in dude's bedroom.
$525 shipped, Chicago, il.
I have countless references, drew, Leon, etc.
(Archon pictured below also for sale)
Ok, so I have been looking into better ways of home recording, and whilst I like my palmer, kind of find it a bit "dry". SO, I started looking at two notes stuff.
Now, I was really being seriously tempted by the Torpedo Live, and looked very much like the "solution" with it being a straight...
Torpedo Wall of Sound III | Two Notes Audio Engineering
And doesn't require a damn iLok dongle anymore either. Basically, the free version has two cabs, 8 mics, etc. and then each additional cab can be purchased in-app for whatever 7 Euro is, which I think is $10-ish right now. Not bad. It also...
