LOK-N-ROLL - Floyd Rose, Guitar Upgrades, Electric Guitar | LOK-N-ROLL
Anyone use these? I'm completely spoiled by the non-locking compensated nuts on most of my guitars, and I'd love to have something similar on my double locking ones as well.
I thought Earvana had a locking compensated nut...
I recorded a guest solo with my Jackson RR24 for a fellow forum members project.
After I was finished I noticed "oh, I forgot to put on new strings after adjusting the trussrod and breaking a string a couple of weeks ago"
Perfect tuning stability during the whole session and after about 40...
I wanna use a neck (with floyd shelf) on a hardtail guitar and since the slots are wider than the strings, they slide side to side when bending / vibrato, resulting in a string that first is out of tune, and then in tune, and then out of tune etc etc.
I can't find on Allparts, where they was...
Recommended by none other than German boutique hardware manufacturer ABM.

Cool... until you see the price:
Retail: $259 (naval brass), $269 (titanium)
Are we getting insane here? I know its a niche market but prices on these things are getting out of hand.. how MUCH BETTER tone/stability etc will you get from a 20-30 dollar/euros Gotoh one??
I know some will buy...
I've been asking around different places and couldn't get any good answers, but I just discovered that the Gotoh locking nuts uses metric radius, so I checked with a ruler and this is the answers!
The wider nut (GHL) has 400mm radius = almost 16"
The narrow nut (FGR) has a 360mm radius = about...
I went to Rick Graham's YouTube channel, and he has this video set as the one that plays on his home page. I had no idea he used to be overweight. I must have only seen recent videos. This is pretty nuts, and figured some of you fitness guys might dig this.
Both brand new. Both 1 11/16 wide X 3/16 thickness. 12 radius . Unbleached bone with slots started and synthetic black material ready to use.
Up for grabs. Please be inside the lower 48
So I'm pretty ignorant about string nuts and would like to change that. Thanks to Google, I'm somewhat familiar with the different materials and how they affect tone and tuning stability, but most of the searches I've tried end up bringing me to the Warmoth/Allparts/Stewmac pages where I can buy...
So in a previous thread, I was looking to get new tubes, since I suspected the 12AX7 leading to the effects loop on my DC was shitting out. Turns out it wasn't that at all; the batteries were just dying in my pedal.
So to retest, the only thing I have that eliminates batteries and is AC...
I'm curious about putting a compensated nut on my Ibanez Apex II, or if it's even possible. I'm one of those weirdos that's driven a little crazy by the slight (but normal) out-of-tuneness you get when playing all over the neck.
I've seen some sources online for 7-string compensated nuts, but...
When I was hunting through my parts box for TDM, I found that I have some Ibanez parts which are probably not needed, as I don't have any Ibanez guitars anymore.
1 x Ibanez sevenstring locking nut with pads but no pad bolts (single pads are slightly worn, double pad is perfect) - £25
1 x...
I need 'em! Where can I get 'em? I tried to make my own and think only accomplished a lot of inhaled bone dust and a broken demmel.
SO! I've got 2 electric 6 strings that need 'em and a 7 string probably this week (yay!)
Can you guys recommend a place to order 'em? Found some "solo pro"...
Anyone know of a shop that makes something like this that's drop in? I know Graphtech has some nuts that replace the usual Floyd stuff, but IIRC they're just standard non-locking ones.

Finished composition, definitely not finished mix. it's a good mix to write with though, so i'll keep it around :)

Has anyone tried these, or have heard of their quality? I want to replace the locking nuts on my guitars with regular/traditional nuts because I have locking tuners, have the Floyds tremstopped, and therefore do not use the locking nut. I actually removed the pads altogether. It...

So I’ve just started University doing a course in Commercial Music; which I quite enjoy. That was until we were issued with our instrumental tutors; of which I have two, one for notation and acoustic techniques...
I want this built for me -
Yes. A lefty mirror image of a jpm100 (perhaps the 90th - I was a huge jp fanboy as a young'n) - including the reversed Ibanez logo.
Who can build it for me?
Looking into Chris Woods is how I originally found ss.org, so I'm quite aware of the patina of shit...
