OBSCURA completes new line-up with rejoining guitarist CHRISTIAN MÜNZNER Pretty cool. Funny that he rejoined at the same time as Jeroen, so I'm intrigued to see how the next record comes out.

Yo, I saw Obscura just over a week ago and I'm now on a massive kick with their music. They're mostly playing stuff from the new album (my fave) and when I saw them in London, they were simply phenomenal. I will now no longer listen to anyone shitting on Kummerer's ability to play the material...

Rather in love with this album at the moment. Reminds a me of a blend between Morbid Angel, Arcturus and Obscura, plus some of the playing is absolutely stunning.

Well, this looks bloody awesome... Usually tours in the UK get ruined by putting some bloody awful band on (usually Trigger The Bloodshed) in the middle of some awesome ones, but there isn't a band here who I don't want to see. The only other gig I've been to like that was Evergrey, Amaranthe...

I bought this album last week and have listened to it several times so far and already I think it's the best album of 2011. Just amazing stuff. One of the tracks:

Solo starts around 3:20 mark. It builds up and lasts about a minute. This is a guest solo by the singer of Dark Fortress named Morean. IT'S FUCKING INSANE. INSANE. The speed and clarity is stupid-ridiculous. No idea how it's done. Discuss.

Sounds already better than any song of Cosmogenesis, which i found was a bit overrated.

Seriously, I've been trying to find a copy of Gorguts album obscura for under 90 dollars for the last four months...the only things i've found on ebay were between 90-105 dollars :squint: Ideas?
