    I am looking for a half way decent orchestral VST (strings,brass,piano,etc..) Free or paid. Any suggestions? I thought Ola posted a video but I could not find it on his channel. After a few minutes I got a headache looking at his thumbnails.

    The Songs 'Lords of Misery' at the top. This was a crazy mix, over 48 tracks, with guitars, harps, vocals, violins, percussion section, real drums, bass, more vocals, piano, string sections, choir (both real and synth), more vocals, and just... fuck, it was nuts. But we got there in the end...

    I'm not satifsfied with my guitar sound, let alone with my playing. Unfortunately I have little time to play the guitar recently, so my technique is rusty, and as I'm new to playing down-tuned guitars (with it's thick and flubby strings), it's not as tight as it should be yet, my apologies...

    The last time I played an electric keyboard was probably 1992 so I'm sure the technology has changed a bit. It was a Yamaha keyboard with a 100 sound soundbank. Am I correct in assuming that modern keyboards have internal memory and can download whatever sounds you want, and you're no longer...

    Found this over at the Sneap forum. Basically, start by setting the panning of each instrument, so that it feels like the listener is sat in-front of a real orchestra. Obviously this requires a multichannel VST, or an actual orchestra.. But it definitely makes a noticeable difference in clarity.
