Finally got around to grabbing a few pics of this. Got it about a month or 2 ago. Its a brand new 2013 DF824. The full carbon real deal Maxxfly. I named it Maxxwell Parker lol.
I just cant say enough about this guitar. Its again, Parker perfect. Weighs 5lbs, and plays better than any other...
Some of my band members and I are forming a covers band and I'm after a guitar for that role that's somewhat versatile and easy on the back for 3 hour gigs.
There are Parker Fly Deluxes that regularly go for about $1000 in Japan and I'm kinda tempted to get one. There's this one presently...
I'v got a custom shop Maxxfly I ordered 6 months ago and was estimated in april, then it got pushed off to this week. I went onto the parker forum and it appears in these threads that parker is closing/going on hiatus at best? An admin even came in and confirmed in the first thread here.
Yo yo yo and shit!
I picked up a new USA Maxxfly/Dragonfly Parker the other day. Apparently barely any of these were made as far as my research has gathered. Hardly anything on the googles about them.
It is exactly the same as a fly body other than the altered upper horn. This one has the...
Grabbed this guy from SavageRandy over on ss.org. Guy hooked me up with a great deal. This is one of my bucket list guitars, and I'm in love this with this guitar. I'm busy playing it, so this is all you get for now.
So I just bought a 96 parker fly deluxe. I needed a knob, trem arm, and case.
I called Parker and got a trem arm, but they cant get the original knobs.
Mine is missing the tip of the 1 stacked knob that controls the piezo tone/volume.
I figure at this point, i'l just buy a new set of knobs...
Just got this sweet little guitar.
Weighs nothing, sounds pretty huge, looks all sleek.
Gotta swap out the pups for some BKP Juggs eventually, (due to Parker's design, they need to be custom made to fit/install), stock pups are a bit boxy sounding and a bit dull, kinda bland...
So after wanting to be able play and own a parker for many years I finally got my chance, only to realize that I don't like this guitar as much as I thought I would. It looks cool and I love how easily my fingers glide across the fingerboard, but that's about it. I'm hoping someone on here can...
Are these any good?
Amazon.com: Parker PDF35WH MaxxFly PDF Series 7-String Solid-Body Electric Guitar, White: Musical Instruments
For $460, seems like it might be worth the gamble.
Edit: Though that doesn't appear to be a seven string.
I was in Matt's in London yesterday, and saw this Fly on the wall for a literally retarded deal. I mean ridiculous haha. Unfortunately, my university education wouldn't let me buy it, but fortunately, my dad wanted it  I told him about it, and he said it would be cool to check it out, then...
A bit hard to find these in tangerine, but they do pop up once in a while, and I do LOVE tangerine.
This is a 2008 Deluxe model, poplar body and basswood neck.
To be honest I have never even touched a Parker before, but that´s internet shopping right there :D
Lightwight of course, but actually...

Up for sale is my Ibanez Apex II in Green Forest Shadow with...

So, what do you think of Parker guitars? I've been interested in them for a while, but am only now considering actually getting one. I'd let to get some opinions from you guys on them so I know what I'm getting in to. Some info about my preferences, if it helps:
-I like thin(ner) necks.
Anyone else hear about this?
Parker Guitars Forum - Who wants a "Parker 7 String" Poll
Sucks they're going to be using the Dragonfly instead of going the more traditional parker route, oh well it's a step in the right direction.
So I finally got that pesky Ibby JCustom off my hands and got a guitar from a company I hadn't had one of in a long time. I had a Parker Fly Hardtail years ago and when I went all misguided and loyal to Ibanez, sold it off. Regret set in later (as it did from my old Hamer Cali but that's been...
Sorry, but I've cross-posted this from everybody's favorite seven-string oriented site. I've basically lurked here because I haven't had the chops nor the gear to feel like I would fit in, but at least now I think I've got some decent gear :D.
Pardon the originality, but here is the original...
