    Where do guitar picks disappear?

Lately in an attempt to mix things up and maybe look around at some new stuff I have put aside my Beloved, red Jazz 3 picks and have been trying out some new stuff. I grabbed an assortment of Tortex Jazz 3 and ended up liking the 1.35 quite a bit playing/feel wise but it seemed a bit soft. 1.5...

You can always lose a pick live on stage! Here's my new way of keeping at least one extra pick on my Solar A1.6ET! The rest would probably be on a micstand, but this is VERY convienient, and near invisible too. Do you have any special ways to keep extra picks live?:flex:

Anyone have any experience with these? Iv been wanting an alternative to the jazz iii because they just wear too fast. Im looking for more durability.

Last week I decided to get 10 gauge strings for my LP, so on a whim I figured I'd get some more picks too. I logged onto Sweetwater.com and seen some Dunlop picks I've never noticed before, so I got some (I've been using the Tortex 1.0 for the longest time). Among them (far right) is the John...

This song rules So I had to make it printed on my new picks!!!

....I picked up one of the full-sized Fenders heavies I keep around for bass and strumming acoustic and started playing some lead stuff, and shockingly it actually felt pretty natural. I think what originally drew me to jazz-sized picks, especially the Stubby 3.0s I initially started on...

In the year of 2017 what pick do you use to bring out the tone of a thousand tortured souls? After buying a couple variety packs I have found the Dunlop Primetone .96 to feel perfect Also like the Dunlop Big Stubby 1.0 https://www.jimdunlop.com/category/products/guitar+picks/primetone.do...

Hi guys! So, I have been using the Jim Dunlop Jazz III XL picks for a couple of years... The size/gauge/thickness is great, the grip is good enough... They work for me. I'm really used to them and keep buying them again, and again. But, I'm still struggling to find the differences between...

I ordered some picks from In Tune GP on Friday, and they got back to me yesterday (pretty quick service, allowing that the weekend was in between). Service has been amazing so far, so just thought I'd give them a shout out, as we see more complaints than praise. I sent in my design, and they've...

So when I go to the Dimarzio website and do the pickup selector, according to my inputs it get liquifire for the neck and Super D for the bridge. Has anyone had this combo before? I'd be making the swap for stock V7/V8 in a RG570.

Not the biggest turn out for this one, and I think it's probably in the bag for Jeepy (and rightly so!), but let's have a vote, anyway. Only three entries, so it may be tolerable to watch all three then vote. Remember, it's not the most accurate or tightest performance or anything like that...

Hey Metal Guitarists! I just want to let it be known that I have joined the forum, I will probably be posting threads in the Guitar: Gear Discussions forum. A little about myself, I bought my first guitar in 1996. At the time I had no idea how to play, so I bought some books and took a few...

Hey y'all, Just switched over to Dave Rock Control picks. I play straightforward metal in drop-D using 9-46 on a 25.5" scale. The picks allow for a quick switch from a looser strum to a close grip for speed picking. I've been through a tone of pick choices including Dunlop Jazz III, ultex...

Dunlop Tortex Jazz Round Tip Heavy/Purple, bag of 36, 472RH1 I didn't even realize these existed, until I went to order more 1.0mm jazz sized Tortex picks (since I'm running low on MG.org picks) and accidently grabbed the round tip ones off Juststrings instead of the pointed tip ones. They're...

Hey there, I make handmade picks and I'd like to sell these two. One is a sharpie shape which is 2mm at the back and around 1.5mm at the front (roughly) The other is similar to a jazz/teardrop but it's larger, so it's a hybrid between the Jazz shape and the standard size. 3mm thick. Both are...

Yo dawgz of MG. I posted a while ago about re-shaping a pick that I made when I was 12 and making it all hipster custom funky and whatnot. Anyway, here are some more I made which I hope you'll enjoy checking out! First off, a bunch including the first one (red), one fatso jazz, a standard jazz...

I went through 3 of them just tracking guitars for my band's EP, and we've only got 4 songs! Any alternatives? Obviously the Jazz III XL comes to mind but I didn't really dig'em. The Petrucci size felt perfect, right between a standard Jazz III and an XL. Anything that's just as pointy...
