I won this plugin from a review website awhile ago and decided to crack it open again. Its pretty damn good. Just keep in mind my ears suck and I like really scooped tones. **Edit** redid the mix as it sounded like shit New vid with more pre amp mids Old vid

Eventide is selling their Undulator plugin for $19 for "a limited time only." I picked it up & like it. It's a reverb/delay combo which lens itself to tremolo or ambient guitar sounds. Disclosure- It does use iLok for the license and activation and I know some on here aren't down with that.

I created a Kemper Direct profile with the LE456 plugin and used stock Kemper cab. Post EQ,reverb,etc... Pretty damn good for a plugin that came out in 2009 https://soundcloud.com/henryschreck/thornskemperprofile2

Been getting serious about recording lately. I already did some upgrades to my recording hardware last year (new computer, new interface, monitor speakers, etc.) I just invested some more into mics, acoustic treatment, etc. and I'm filling in some of the last few essential gaps. One of the...

From their FB Page: Mercuriall Audio announces new plugin "ReAxis". ReAxis is a VST/AU/AAX plugin that models MESA/Boogie® Triaxis™ (rev. TX5A) preamp, two power amps, four guitar cabinets and three microphones, a Wah-Wah based on Dunlop® 535Q, several overdrive pedals and a set of the most...

This plugin is totally aimed at the metalcore/djent crowd, the stock samples sounds like everything you hear on any Youtube channel nowadays. But they sound good! However, I didn't buy this mainly for the stock plugins, but for the sampler included. Making your own samples is fairly easy, you...

So, I've got BIAS Amp Pro, which I like a lot. I've also got BIAS FX Pro, which I do NOT like a lot. The effects, IMO, are pretty weak. I also have GR5 Pro, which was fine for it's day, but also is kinda meh. Are there any "effects rack" AU's/VST's that have your standard...

Get iZotope DDLY Free â€" Limited-time Offer No idea as to whether or not it's any good, but it's free, so why not? Plus, Izotope seems to make cool stuff, so it should be decent.

Seems like a nice High Gain VST, unfortunately the demo is so freaking limited that we cant even judge it properly.... Ola did a Demo of it and posted today the video It would be nice to see how it compares to TSE new version (not the free one)

That's the drummer from my old band, Terrorhorse. Probably not the best guy to use for this demo, since this plugin won't really be necessary for him  Dude hits way harder than he looks like he is, and is insanely consistent. Interesting plugin.

I'd been using the Antress tape sim on a PC which was OK but useful as a special effect here and there, but I can't use it on a Mac. So, what CAN I use? Freeware or relatively cheap would be preferable, but let's say sub-$200 budget or so.
