Jokes aside, we all know Machine Head suck, and this revamped original lineup thing has been tried a million times by bands to regain popularity after years of a waning career, but.... you can't ignore how good this is. In terms of performance and production, I mean. It truly is very well done...

Say what you want about Line 6's Helix modeling, I'm still unsure of it myself. But this sure is a cute little fucker, and the price ($599) is certainly right.

Definitely a bit nicer than the old Mushok baritones, if only because the beveled top looks better than the flattop. Seems to stay a bit more stable with tuning too, but that could be my imagination. Still kind of a bitch to play though, because the strings are like power lines. :lol:

Don't worry, it's not djent. I've been screwing around with recording original songs for years but each one takes me a few weeks to finish, mostly a lot of time is spent messing around with settings and trying different things. I took a simpler approach on this one but I think it came out...

I HATED these guys when Chris first started posting about them, but gave them another try recently (Apple Music = not paying additional :D), but this new disk is pretty awesome. It's not really high brow music by any means, but I really dig running to them.
